šŸ™ŒšŸ¼This Week’s Inspiration

This city-state is more than just a stopover; it’s a place where futuristic design blends effortlessly with cultural heritage. Known for its spotless streets, inspiring urban planning, and deep respect for both nature and tradition, Singapore offers a unique travel experience that feels both modern and meaningful. Here are some places we recommend:

🌺 Gardens by the Bay

This futuristic botanical garden is home to the iconic Supertree Grove—massive vertical gardens that light up in dazzling colors at night.

Don’t miss the Cloud Forest, a climate-controlled dome housing a 35-meter indoor waterfall and misty walkways. It’s a peaceful yet surreal experience, blending nature and innovation like only Singapore can.

šŸ™ļø Marina Bay Sands

Marina Bay Sands is considered an architectural marvel. It features a rooftop infinity pool with one of the best views in Asia. The complex includes a luxury hotel, a mall, a casino, and the ArtScience Museum shaped like a lotus.

Even if you don’t stay there, go up to the SkyPark Observation Deck for an unforgettable sunset.

šŸŽ¢ Sentosa Island

Whether you’re after sandy beaches, luxury resorts, or theme parks like Universal Studios Singapore, Sentosa has it all. Ride the cable car over from Mount Faber for stunning views of the harbor. It’s perfect for families, couples, or anyone looking to unwind and play.

šŸ® Chinatown

Chinatown offers everything from traditional Chinese medicine to trendy cafes. Visit the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple, or take a stroll through the bustling markets. It’s also one of the best places to sample local hawker fare (Singaporean food sold in open-air food courts) on a budget.

How to Get to Singapore:

Normally travelers want to spend as little time as possible in airports. But Singapore’s Changi Airport has been voted the world’s best airport multiple times. It literally is an attraction in itself.

Don’t believe us? See the picture below:

Jewel- the world’s tallest indoor waterfall at Changi Airport

Along with the Jewel, there are butterfly gardens, movie theaters, a giant slide for kids, and a rooftop pool. Honestly, there’s so much to do, you might want to arrive early on purpose. Consider having a long layover here at Changi Airport when traveling through Asia.

There are endless dining options, shopping galore, and even free city tours if you’re on a layover. Whether you're coming or going, exploring this airport is part of the adventure.

Where to Stay:

Marina Bay Sands -hello infinity pool with a view!

ParkRoyal Collection: Marina Bay - centrally located near popular sites

Village Hotel Sentosa - located on Sentosa Island

What to Eat:

-Hainanese Chicken Rice – Fragrant rice, tender chicken, and chili-ginger sauce make this a local staple.

-Chilli Crab – Spicy, sweet, and messy in the best way possible.

-Laksa – A creamy, spicy noodle soup with coconut milk, seafood, and herbs.

-Char Kway Teow – Wok-fried flat noodles with egg, Chinese sausage, and prawns.

-Kaya Toast with Soft-Boiled Eggs – A local breakfast favorite made with coconut jam and strong kopi (coffee).

What to Pack:

It's important to prepare for the tropical climate when packing for Singapore. Bring lightweight, breathable clothing, as the weather is hot and humid year-round. A small umbrella or light rain jacket is also a smart addition, since short rain showers are frequent.

You'll be walking quite a bit, so pack comfortable walking shoes. To protect yourself from the strong sun, don’t forget sunscreen and sunglasses. Lastly, a refillable water bottle is essential to stay hydrated throughout your adventures.
